43-Year-Old Keith Kinnunen From River Oaks, TX Identified As Freeway Church Shooter – Was Previously Arrested On Gun Charges

(Gateway Pundit) – The man who pulled a gun inside the Freeway Church in Texas was identified on Monday.

Keith Kinnunen has a previous record on gun charges in New Jersey.

He was arrested in Lindon in 2016 on gun charges.

Kinnunen was shot dead after he started shooting churchgoers on Sunday in White Settlement, Texas.

The man who shot two people at a White Settlement Church on Sunday before he was killed by church security has been identified as 43-year-old Keith Thomas Kinnunen, of River Oaks, according to two law enforcement sources.

Kinnunen had a criminal record in Tarrant County including charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon in 2009 and theft of property in 2013.

He also was arrested in September 2016 for possession of an illegal weapon in Linden, New Jersey after he was found taking pictures outside an oil refinery, according to news reports at the time.

An article on the news website mycentraljersey.com reported that Kinnunen said he was travelling from Texas, was homeless and was taking photos of “interesting sites.”

At the time of his New Jersey arrest, Kinnunen also had a warrant for his arrest in Oklahoma for aggravated assault, mycentraljersey.com reported.

  1. Oh, but wait, all the gun control laws the dems want to pass would have prevented him from having the firearm in the first place, especially since he had been caught/charged with prior illegal possessions. Common sense, right?

    • Except they wouldn’t have. He was already not legally permitted to purchase or possess a firearm, yet he clearly has 1 Sunday morning in that church!

  2. Thanks to man who shot him. Make sure we keep our state free and keep liberal Democratic Terrorist Party out of state and hopefully others will do something. Great d Bless Texas.

  3. Guess they cancel any outstanding warrants for this turd. Just wondering…if he was tried and convicted of the gun charges he faced in 2016 or some of the other stuff leading up to that time would he still be in the joint not out with a shotgun to kill people in church…just sayin.

  4. Any crime commited with a weapon of any kind should be a 25 year prison sentece with no parole. A second offence is automatic death penalty.

That works great in Singapore. No crime!
