(Right Country) – Hollywood director and screenwriter Billy Ray wants to see the “political eradication” of every single Republican senator who dared to stand up for former President Donald Trump and uphold the Constitution by opting to acquit him of the impeachment charge of inciting a riot outside the Capitol building back at the beginning of January.
According to Breitbart, Ray stated that these senators must be voted out of office or “hounded” into retirement, or possibly even convicted. Gee, such a tolerant attitude. Why isn’t this guy canceled? If a conservative had said something like this, you can guarantee the whole progressive movement would be demanding he get the boot.
Wondering who Ray is? He helped write the screenplay for The Hunger Games and also sat in the director’s chair for the Showtime miniseries The Comedy Rule, expressed his desire to see the careers of 43 GOP politicians be destroyed over the weekend. In a post made on social media Ray said, “Time, money, energy, will — whatever it takes.”
Ray especially seemed to have a bone to pick with Sens. Ted Cruz and Josh Hawley, staying they need to be convicted, though he didn’t bother to mention what crimes these two happened to commit that they could be charged with.
“My life now has a plan: the political eradication of the unAmerican GOP Sens who chose to acquit.
Time, money, energy, will – whatever it takes. They all have to be voted out of office, or hounded into retirement, or (Cruz Hawley) convicted.
But the effort begins today. You in?” his post on Twitter said.
He made another tweet encouraging left-wing activists to begin organizing ahead of the 2022 midterm elections.
Don't agonize, ORGANIZE.
Think grassroots. Find people who feel as you do. This Summer we'll be knocking doors again.
Find candidates you care about. Commit yourself to helping them win.
We will compete in every race, everywhere.#Democracy#WorkingForWorkingPeople#GoBlue2022 https://t.co/fbgEOF8Wux

“As Breitbart News reported, the final Senate impeachment vote was 57 guilty versus 43 not guilty, falling short of the two-thirds majority needed to convict Trump. In the end, seven Republican senators voted to convict — Sens. Burr, Cassidy, Collins, Murkowski, Romney, Sasse, and Toomey,” Brietbart’s report said.
“Ray is one of many Hollywood elites who experienced an emotional meltdown after the Senate’s vote. Stars including Alyssa Milano, Rob Reiner, John Cusack, and Rosie O’Donnell took to social media to vent their outrage and frustration over the weekend,” it continued.
Why do we ever allow these folks to have such huge sway in our culture? The radical left controls basically every aspect of culture due to the fact that celebrities are brainwashed into spewing the same tired talking points. It’s tiresome.
