(Right Country) – If you’ve been following along with the ongoing fight for an audit of the 2020 election results in Maricopa County, Arizona, you know that the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors have been starkly opposed to the Republican-led State Senate obtaining the county’s ballots and voting machines and performing a real forensic audit of the results.
The MCBOS has allowed the results to be “audited” but then insisted that the firms who conducted the audit were hand-picked by them alone. Of course, the firms hired were never going to find any fraud. They never intended to. Both firms have direct links to Dominion.
On Friday morning, however, a Maricopa County Superior Court Judge handed the State Senate, along with Trump, the MAGA movement and his supporters, a massive victory.
The Associated Press reports that Judge Timothy Thomason has ruled that the Arizona Senate will be granted access to the 2.1 million voter ballots and all the voting machines from Maricopa County.
The county, Arizona’s most populated, flipped from Trump to Biden giving Biden the “win.” Since the suspicious election, the Arizona Senate Republicans have been fighting to take a closer look at the election but have been met with non-stop stonewalling from the MCBOS.
The MCBOS has previously argued that the ballots should remain in secret and not be open for investigation. They have dodged subpoenas by the Senate and even sued the Senate claiming that the Senate does not possess the legal authority to subpoena the ballots.
The state constitution clearly gives the state legislature the authority and responsibility to enforce the law and maintain election procedures and integrity. It’s been clear the MCBOS has been out of line the entire way.
Judge Thomason has ruled that the MCBOS needs to start complying with the State Senate immediately bringing a major victory for election integrity in the state.
Judge Thomason appears to agree with the state Senate across all fronts and has even called the subpoenas “legal and enforceable.”
In his ruling, the Judge also stated, “There is no question that the Senators have the power to issue legislative subpoenas. The Subpoenas comply with the statutory requirements for legislative subpoenas. The Senate also has broad constitutional power to oversee elections. The Arizona legislature clearly has the power to investigate and examine election reform matters.”
He went on to say that according to their authority, Senators have the power to issue subpoenas in regards to the ballots and voting machines.
Arizona State Senate President Karen Fann expressed that the Senate was “thrilled and grateful” with the judge’s ruling and that the judge “was able to see the big picture.”
Fann went on to say that the Senate’s efforts have never been about “overturning an election” but rather about “voter integrity” resolving the myriad of questions concerning the “safety and security and validity” of elections in the state of Arizona.

This is a huge victory indeed and we can only hope that once the State Senators perform a real audit on the results, we’ll have more answers than questions.
