Surprise Surprise. You’ll Never Guess What’s Increased Since Facemasks Have Been Forced On Us All

(Right Country) – Despite there being no scientific evidence to support the use of facemasks to prevent the spread of the coronavirus, or any virus for that matter, many states have made it a requirement for residents to wear one if they desire to go into public. Is it any wonder that now robberies in some areas are skyrocketing?

In Santa Ana, California, local authorities are reporting a 50% increase in robberies and owners and staff of businesses are justifiably downright terrified.

KCAL News reports:

Pointing a gun right at a gas station clerk, a man in a traffic vest and a ball cap demanded money as his accomplice, wearing a mask, grabbed the cash.

“We’re sitting here not knowing who’s going to walk through that door,” Elias Khawan, the owner, said.

The thieves, who did not initially raise the clerk’s suspicion due to local orders for face coverings in light of the coronavirus pandemic, took off in a silver Nissan Altima last Friday at 2 a.m.

Khawan said he has never seen anything like it the 17 years he’s run his Santa Ana gas station and convenience store. He said local face covering requirements put his staff in danger.

“It’s horrible,” he said. “I mean, I know we have to take certain measures because of what’s happening with COVID-19, but it’s the perfect script or manual for a robber — the mask, the sunshade and a hoodie. You don’t know who’s coming, who’s walking in.”

Khawan and his staff feel so unsafe that he has cut his hours from being open all night to closing at 10 p.m., a 25% hit to his bottom line. He has also added signs at his store prohibiting hoodies, backpacks and handbags.

“They’re very scared,” he said. “I have two employees who said, ‘No, we don’t want to work at nighttime.’”

And Santa Ana police confirmed Thursday that robberies in the city have increased by 50% since the lockdown.

In an April robbery, a thief hid his face with a bandana at a doughnut shop on Bristol. The cashier was caught off guard when the thief pulled out a gun and placed it on the counter. The thief then emptied both registers before getting away.

“It’s the norm,” Cpl. Anthony Bertagna, with Santa Ana PD, said. “So we’re seeing more and more suspects wearing the mask and using that to their benefit.”

Police said they were not exactly sure why there has been such an increase in robberies, but said it could be related to the number of inmates released from area jails due to the pandemic.

This is the exact kind of chaos the left is looking to ensue and really the only reasonable explanation as to why leftist lawmakers across the country have been supportive of releasing dangerous felons because of “the virus.”

Chaos ensues, the people will look to the government to save them. Dems will be there waiting with outstretched arms to “rescue” us from the lawlessness and turmoil they created.

They’re working hard to rig the coming election. That’s what they consider as the only way to save us from this devastation that they blame Trump for.

Next time you hear about a robbery, just remember, it’s exactly what the left wants.

  1. You’re full of crap concerning the left wanting this and you know it. The only thing that I’ve seen in the last ten years is when I lived in Arizona and made it LEGAL to open carry in bars and banks. THAT was stupidity at its peak and I’ll guarantee that wasn’t the liberals.

    • Vladilyich: Can you think of any *Logical* reason why the Democrats (liberals/left) wanted to release so many inmates into our supposed (Covid19) free society where a felon has more rights than anyone else?
Yahoo!! Let’s have a huge party paid for by the public after they rob all of the drug/liquor stores & the pot dispensaries! You pick the time/place & let me know right back here. O.K? Luv ya bro!🖤💤💣💥

  2. And, what did you expect. Are these released inmates given any means to support themselves when they get out. And, don’t forget, many of the inmates considered non-violent criminals pleased down to a lesser non-violent crime for sentencing. Their actual crime may have been violent.

Did anyone consider that these inmates may be safer staying in prison?
