Trump Leaves Liberals Speechless With This Opinion on Colin Kaepernick Returning to the NFL

(Right Country) – President Trump left liberal heads spinning when he suggested that Colin Kaepernick should get the opportunity at a second shot in the NFL if he still possesses the ability to do so. How could the racist President Trump say anything so reasonable and fair?! Of course, the leftist media will hardly give him any acknowledgement when he says things that they can’t scornfully mock, insult, or ridicule.

In an interview Wednesday with Sinclair News reporter Scott Thuman, Trump was asked whether he would support Kaepernick getting back into the league if a team were interested in him, to which Trump responded, “If he deserves it, he should. If he has the playing ability.”

Trump went on to point out that Kaepernick’s “playing wasn’t up to snuff” when he last played in the NFL.

“The answer is absolutely I would, as far as kneeling, I would love to see him get another shot but obviously he has to be able to play well,” he said. “If he can’t play well, I think that would be very unfair.”

President Trump is still not a fan of kneeling during the National Anthem at the start of NFL games and many conservatives support that stance. Trump said on Twitter:

Could it be even remotely possible that in Roger Goodell’s rather interesting statement of peace and reconciliation, he was intimating that it would now be O.K. for the players to KNEEL, or not to stand, for the National Anthem, thereby disrespecting our Country & our Flag?

He expressed it again with this post:

Tony Fauci has nothing to do with NFL Football. They are planning a very safe and controlled opening. However, if they don’t stand for our National Anthem and our Great American Flag, I won’t be watching!!!

It doesn’t seem unreasonable to expect players to express their political views while “off the clock” so to speak. Americans tune in to watch the NFL to be entertained and to enjoy the game, not to be smacked over the head with players’ political views that they may or may not agree with.

That being said, even NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell was against players kneeling during the Anthem but since turning into a leftist panderer, he’s now brown-nosing players and inviting them kneel and use the NFL as an arena for expressing their leftist political views. (We’re sure conservative players would be chastised for expressing their views.)

While speaking to ESPN, Goodell endorsed Kaepernick’s return and groveled to the left:

“Well, listen, if he wants to resume his career in the NFL, then obviously it’s going to take a team to make that decision,” Goodell said. “But I welcome that, support a club making that decision and encourage them to do that.

“If his efforts are not on the field but continuing to work in this space, we welcome him to that table and to help us, guide us, help us make better decisions about the kinds of things that need to be done in the communities. We have invited him in before, and we want to make sure that everybody’s welcome at that table and trying to help us deal with some very complex, difficult issues that have been around for a long time.”

All that being said, the last time Kaepernick played his team, the San Francisco 49ers, went 2-14 so the fact that he has not made a return to the league since most likely speaks more to his ability and team’s lack of interest in him as an athlete rather than the political controversy he sparked in 2016.

Nonetheless, should Kaepernick be worthy of a second chance based on talent there is no reason why conservatives should not support that, after all, we are not the party of cancel culture and ruining people’s careers simply because we don’t agree with them. That’s the trademark of the left.

  1. a person serves the amount of time in prison for a crime does not get to vote.

but a person is forgiven when they disrespect the flag and the country they live in is forgiven.

    Hummmm

  2. The NFL and a lot of retired players are clearly suffering from to much head contact syndrome, that is turned totally stupid. It is sad to see great ex-players embarrass themselves over a fuzzy headed one shot no-talent ninny. Not sure what Goodell’s excuse is except he is a very bad administrator. But we have known that for years. How many try outs does it take to understand why the Forty-nines sat him down. He really cannot get it done. A one short streak wonder-kin, then nothing.

  3. GOODELL IS ONLY INTERESTED IN HIS BANK ACCT AND HIS OWN PRESENTATION!! I WANT TO KNOW WHY HE STILL HAS THAT JOB? HOW DID HE GET IT? HOW CAN HE BE THROWN OUT AND A REAL FOOTBALL ENTHUSIUST TAKE OVER?
