What MyPillow Company Is Doing To Fight Coronavirus Is What Capitalism Is All About

(Right Country) – The coronavirus outbreak we are all experiencing in the United States has had a lot of previously unforeseen cosequences that have left our nation rocked to the core. There’s just something totally disconcerting about discovering how woefully inadequate we as a country were prepared for a pandemic.

While the virus itself is causing a lot of severely sick folk and has even killed quite a few, that’s not the most devastatng facts about the whole thing. As it turns out the economic impact and the depletion of resources are what is actually damaging our nation the most at the moment.

Needed supplies like masks for medical professionals disappeared off the shelves weeks ago and there’s now a shortage of these supplies across the country. Fortunately, the good people over at MyPillow, an American company, are stepping up to the plate to manufacture these devices and get them out to the people who need them.

Here’s more on this from Gateway Pundit:

MyPillow founder Mike Lindell, a strong supporter of President Donald Trump, posted a video explaining that the company has already started producing masks and expects they will soon be able to pump out as many as 40,000 per day.

“Hello everyone, we have a great announcement to make at MyPillow, we’ve been working on it for a couple weeks now, we now have face masks that we are making for hospitals around the country,” Lindell said in Facebook video. “We’re going to get a lot of our people, start getting them back to work.”

All of MyPillow’s products are produced at their factory in Minnesota.

MyPillow is excited to announce that we are now manufacturing face masks for hospitals across the country!

This, ladies and gentlemen, is what capitalism is all about. Part of the reason God blesses companies with material wealth is so they will use that resource to help those who are in need. That is what true capitalism is all about, and what Lindell is doing for those who need medical masks is putting these principles into play.

Lindell added that they’re “going to hopefully be producing between 8 and 10,000 right out of the gate,” but believes that with time they will be able to make 40,000 a day.

“We have to work hard on getting elastic, and there’s different regulations for different hospitals,”Lindell noted, “We’re just excited to help out, and we’re all going to get through this.”

The masks will be provided to hospitals and not be available for purchase by the general public.

There’s no need, really, for these to be mass produced for consumption by the general public. These masks are ineffective to prevent catching the virus. However, if you have the virus already, they go a long way in helping to keep peole from spreading the virus or coming into contact with it.

Doctors and nurses work with these patients face to face and thus, they need this level of protection immediately to help them stop the spread and to treat those who are ill.

God bless all of the medical professionals out there doing this work to help and serve others in this desperate time of need.
